Investment in Liverpool's Creative Quarter

The Northwest Regional Development Agency and European Regional Development Fund are to invest £5.2 million in a dedicated business hub in Liverpool's Creative Quarter.

The money will be used to set up a community interest company, Baltic Creative, led by Liverpool Vision and Merseyside ACME, which will purchase and manage property in the area to further develop visual arts, gallery space, live music venues and recording studios. When complete, the initiative will support 60 businesses across 2,790m2 of floor space and could contribute as much as £1 million a year to the local economy.
