£20m: Estimated cost of a depot for Blackpool trams that Blackpool Council wants to build on a car park at Starr Gate as part of the system's £100 million revamp. It is to hold a exhibition before it resubmits an application.

8,000: Empty properties in Wales that could be refurbished to meet the demand for affordable housing, according to the Welsh Assembly Government.

3,700: Number of homes in the latest proposals to redevelop Battersea Power Station in south-west London. Treasury Holdings UK's £5.5 million plans for the 16ha site include offices, shops and restaurants.
