Plans for a hotel opposite Hampton Court Palace

Plans for a hotel and care home opposite Hampton Court Palace will not be called in after the Government Office for the South East said an inquiry is not needed.

Elmbridge Borough Council deferred its decision on Gladedale's scheme for the Jolly Boatman site. It will now hold a special planning committee meeting next week to consider the plans for a military charity.
