Heritage Lottery Fund confirms funding for Chiswick House gardens

The Heritage Lottery Fund has confirmed a final award of £7.6 million towards the £11.7 million restoration of gardens at Chiswick House in west London. This will include renewing paths, planting more than 1,600 trees, restoring the conservatory and building a cafe and toilets. Work will begin in the spring.
