Network of open spaces guide

A guide to creating a network of high-quality open spaces in east London was published by the mayor of London this week.

The East London Green Grid aims to ensure that the area's regeneration delivers sustainable communities and leads to improved quality of life for residents after the Olympic Games. It divides east London into six areas, each with its own plan. It includes Lea Valley in the north and Bexley and the River Cray in the south. It proposes that £200 million is invested in 300 projects in the next five years.
