Better mechanisms to fund infrastructure should be introduced to UK cities, experts argued last week.

At the Core Cities Summit, PricewaterhouseCoopers partner Ray Mills argued that physical infrastructure for cities is not coming forward and it should not rely on planning charges similar to the Milton Keynes tariff. He observed that European cities share dividends and apply various tools to mix funding solutions.
