Buchanan Galleries shopping mall set to double in size

Glasgow's Buchanan Galleries shopping mall is set to double in size after outline plans for an extension were approved this week.

The expansion, proposed by Land Securities and Henderson Global Investors, will create 120,770m2 centre when completed, including new shops, an atrium entrance, bars and restaurants.
