The company picked up the technology and innovation award for the model designed for Nestrans, Aberdeenshire's regional transport partnership.
It aims to help policy planners analyse the impact of transport developments on local and regional economies. The model can produce 20-year forecasts in ten minutes to compare options and outcomes in real time.
Nestrans has used the model for its transport strategy to reduce car use and improve accessibility to health care and education. SDG research associate John Swanson commented: "The model has been an extremely successful tool."
