Thames Valley young planners network is formally launched

The Thames Valley young planners network (TVYPN) was formally established on 25 September.

The TVYPN steering group and South East region chairman Graham Stallwood introduced the speakers. Barton Willmore representative Chris Brett gave an overview of the evolution of the UK planning system, while South East England Regional Assembly planning director Catriona Riddell, Vail Williams representative James Lacey and Woking Borough Council climate change head Sean Rendell gave talks on sustainability and global warming, charting public and private sector perspectives. Thanks go to Sophia Thorpe for her instrumental role in TVYPN's formation. For more information on the TVYPN or to submit an article for its newsletter, please email
