Members of the regeneration, transport and environmental planning and protection networks are invited to submit details of original, informative and inspiring projects.
Do you know an outstanding environmental planner? The environmental planning and protection network invites nominations. The winner needs to show innovation in assessing or raising awareness of multiple environmental topics or an outstanding contribution to the promotion of planning and protection in a public authority.
The transport planning network award seeks to recognise good practice in delivery. Projects should demonstrate an outstanding contribution to promoting sustainable transport at a local level, tackling the sector's impact on climate change or collaborative working to improve links between land-use and transport planning.
Projects submitted for the regeneration network award should demonstrate a significant contribution to developing or implementing regeneration activity that improves the perception of an area or the quality of life for local residents and visitors. A commitment to working with other professions, disciplines, agencies and sectors that contribute to regeneration is another possible reason for nomination.
Submissions for all awards should be on a pro forma and need to include a summary of how the applicant has contributed to the project and an outline of it. They are welcomed only from members of the particular network, whose steering group will be judging the award.
The winner will be announced at the networks conference in Birmingham in April - "Empowerment and Influence-Planning and Learning Through the RTPI Networks". The closing date for entries for all the awards is 16 November.
