Second phase of Titanic Quarter regeneration given go-ahead

The second phase of Belfast's £1 billion Titanic Quarter regeneration was given the go-ahead this week when Northern Ireland environment minister Arlene Foster confirmed that outline permission has been granted.

Proposals for the 16.5ha site include 2,000 homes, offices, employment land and tourist and leisure facilities. A world-class visitor centre showcasing the city's maritime and industrial heritage is also planned.
