The theme for next year's annual Planning Research Conference will be sustainability, space and social justice. This covers some of the most acute challenges faced in planning, including the ways it responds to climate change, integrates with wider public policy and community strategies and affects all aspects of social and environmental justice. Key speakers include Sustainable Communities and the Challenge of Environmental Justice author Julian Agyeman, Irish Times environmental editor Frank McDonald and Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution member Susan Owens.
Cost: £200 until 31 January, £235 thereafter. Students £60.
