University of West of England wins government contract

The UK's first foundation degree in development management will be offered by the University of the West of England in Bristol after it won a £175,000 government contract.

The first students will start in September, with some using facilities at the University of Westminster and Sheffield Hallam University. Part of the course will involve web-based distance learning with contact days.
