Future of capital's suburbs discussed at planning meeting

The future of the capital's suburbs was discussed at a London Assembly planning meeting this week. It is part of ongoing work to assess the viability, sustainability and health of outer London. The research will be carried out by a consortium led by the British Urban Regeneration Association and will report on recent demographic and economic trends and policies that could be used to make suburbs more sustainable. The findings are due to be published in the spring.
