Campaigners petitioning agains expanding railway line

Campaigners have started petitioning against plans to expand a railway line passing through the roof of Borough Market in London. The plan to upgrade the Thameslink route with an additional viaduct will involve knocking down 23 buildings, some of which are listed. The scheme has won planning permission, but the government has not yet agreed to fund it.
