Plans for mixed-use development in Bury given go-ahead

Plans for a £70 million mixed-use development in Bury town centre have been given the go-ahead. The Townside Fields scheme, a joint venture between Ask Developments and Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, will create council offices and a medical centre. The masterplan for the 15,330m2 project, prepared by architects Carey Jones, also features shops, leisure space and extensive public landscaping.
