Greenpeace takes government to court

Greenpeace took the government to court this week over its energy review. The environmental campaign group claims that the government failed to carry out full public consultation before it decided to support new nuclear power stations. The consultation did not present clear proposals or offer information on issues surrounding nuclear power such as dealing with radioactive waste and financial costs, it claims.
