Long shot wins race to host super casino

Who could have seen it coming? All the smart money was on either Blackpool or Greenwich as the site for the UK's first super casino. The Casino Advisory Panel's backing for Manchester is a genuine shock, all the more so as it came last among the bidders when the panel released interim rankings in July on which city was best placed to host a super casino.
