Developers invited to enter Building for Life awards

Developers are being invited to enter the Building for Life awards for best practice housing and neighbourhood design. The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and the Home Builders Federation are appealing for more northern entries because 18 of the 22 previous gold standard winners are in the south of England. Building for Life chairman Wayne Hemingway said that smaller house builders should not be put off. "Building for Life standards apply to all house builders who embrace quality design and common sense," he insisted.
