Plans for 432 homes unveiled in Toxteth Street neighbourhood

Plans for 432 homes in the Toxteth Street neighbourhood of east Manchester were unveiled last week after a revised outline plan was approved by Manchester City Council. The scheme, designed to represent a modern interpretation of traditional terraced streets, includes 390 two and three-storey townhouses, 36 two-bedroom flats, six bungalows, car parking spaces, traffic calming measures and local amenities. Lovell, PRP Architects and Adactus Housing Association are partners in the project, led by New East Manchester.
