Tunnelling work reaches halfway point on schedule

Tunnelling work to prepare for the development of the Olympic Park in east London reached the halfway point on schedule this week. The work is part of a £230 million project to demolish 52 electricity pylons and run power lines underground. It is expected to be completed in 2009.
