DCLG to standardise form

1 December 2006

The standard planning application form will be the main way to submit proposals across all English planning authorities from next October. The 1APP form will apply to all types of consent except for minerals consent and building control applications. Standardising the form is part of DCLG's aim to speed up the planning system. Notes on how to make the change will be distributed to local authorities across England shortly.
