An independent climate change commission lauched

An independent climate change commission has been launched to look at the work that councils are carrying out to tackle the problem. The commission, created by the Local Government Association, will highlight local government's role in responding to climate change. It will report findings in spring next year and then work with councils, government and key partners to identify where improvements are needed.
