Project to boost local services and improve access in Ilfracombe

A £1 million project to boost local services and improve access in Ilfracombe, North Devon, is set to go ahead following the approval of funding worth £577,000. The Government Office for the South West agreed to invest £372,000 through the Objective 2 programme, while the South West of England Regional Development Agency will invest £205,000 through the market and coastal towns initiative. The onestop@ilfracombe project involves renovating and modernising the town council offices. Ilfracombe Town Council has put £70,000 towards the scheme, with further investment from North Devon District Council and Devon County Council.
