Homes to be built in west Cornwall

Hundreds of homes are to be built in west Cornwall after regeneration bodies confirmed that they will plough £25 million into buying 60ha of brownfield land. The South West of England Regional Development Agency (RDA) and English Partnerships will buy 114 parcels across the former industrial site by negotiation. CPR Regeneration, the urban regeneration company for Camborne, Pool and Redruth, will lead negotiations with the landowners, but the RDA said that it would use its compulsory purchase powers if necessary.
