Hyder Consulting works on a major research project

Hyder Consulting is working on a major research project to develop a method for collecting flood event data in Scotland. The research, which will help tackle the flooding that continues to affect large parts of the country, is on behalf of the Scotland and Northern Ireland Forum for Environmental Research. Hyder will work with the school of the built environment at Heriot-Watt University on the project. It is hoped that the paper will be included in the biennial reports that the Scottish Executive requires from local authorities.
