Plans to regenerate housing in Meden Valley given green light

Plans to regenerate rundown housing in the Meden Valley were given the green light this week. Meden Valley Making Places said it received no objections to compulsory purchase orders made by English Partnerships for its plans to regenerate 11 areas of low-demand housing in the East Midlands, so it can now acquire the land. Its plans include 101 new homes in the Thoresby Road area of Mansfield Woodhouse and 263 new homes on the Royal Estate in Warsop.
