Final phase of Manchester regeneration starts

The final phase of Manchester city centre's regeneration in the aftermath of the 1996 IRA bombing has started with the redevelopment of Mynshall House and Britannic Buildings in Hanging Ditch. The scheme, promoted by developer Nikal, will comprise homes and more than 650m2 of offices in the area between Manchester Cathedral and the former Corn Exchange.
