Contract awarded to Atkins by Strathclyde Partnership

A £2 million contract to complete the next design stage of the Glasgow Airport rail link has been awarded to consultancy Atkins by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. Atkins will provide a range of services on the project, including design, engineering, architectural work and railway design. The plan involves a mix of upgrading existing track and providing a new stretch between Paisley and the airport.
