Permission to redevelop land

Permission to redevelop 7ha of land next to the National Space Centre was granted by Leicester City Council last week. The development in the Abbey Park Road and Abbey Lane area will feature a science park, offices, an access road, housing, and a car showroom. It is a joint public-private venture between the East Midlands Development Agency and Ingleby, brokered by Leicester Regeneration Company.
