WSP advises on technical issues for Blackpool Council

Property and engineering consultancy WSP is to advise on technical issues for Blackpool Council's bid for a public lighting and traffic signals private finance initiative (PFI). The council has to prepare an outline business case as part of its application for £28.5 million of PFI credits. The 25-year project includes replacing a number of lighting columns on 427km of highways and upgrading a large proportion of the council's traffic signal sites.
