Scheme designed for St James Shopping Centre in Edinburgh

A scheme for the St James Shopping Centre in Edinburgh is to be designed by Building Design Partnership and Allan Murray Architects. Centre owner Henderson Global Investors has appointed the firms to progress plans to redevelop the shopping centre and adjoining St James House office block. The two architectural companies were chosen following a competition involving six other firms over the past two months. Henderson said that the two companies demonstrate a strong commitment to quality design and urban planning.
