Nottingham park is to be revamped

The Nottingham park that hosts the city's famous Goose Fair is to be revamped. Although it attracts more than one million visitors for the annual fair, the Forest Recreation Ground is in decline and has suffered from crime and antisocial behaviour. Architects Lathams have designed a makeover that includes better seating, more trees and improved signage. Feasibility studies are also being drawn up to consider developing the historic lodge and the central pavilion.
