Plans submitted to Basildon District Council

Plans to renew the Craylands estate in Basildon and a former school site have been submitted to Basildon District Council. English Partnerships and preferred developer Swan Housing Association lodged the outline application for more than £200 million of investment to create up to 750 homes and rebuild another 700. Roads, a bus route and a local centre with shops and community facilities will also be developed. The local community helped to guide the application to enable more secure streetscapes and car parking provision.
