Sheffield City Council recommended to adopt planning guidance

Sheffield City Council was recommended to adopt planning guidance to deliver more affordable housing in developments across the city this week. A report due to go before the council's cabinet calls for developers to provide a higher proportion of affordable homes in developments of 25 or more residences. This would mean that between 15 and 20 per cent of the homes built would cost £70,000 or less.
