Stoke-on-Trent City Council launches urban design contest

An urban design contest is to be launched by Stoke-on-Trent City Council to regenerate the city centre's pedestrian areas. Entrants will be expected to design public squares, create open space for civic events and completely revamp pavements and lighting. Entries for the competition, run with the Royal Institute of British Architects, will be invited over the next few months and a shortlist will be announced next spring.
