Strong economy quality of life

A strong economy and proximity to London are key factors in the high quality of life enjoyed by residents of the South East, a poll has found. The South East England Regional Assembly survey found that 88 per cent of residents are either satisfied or very satisfied with their quality of life. Other strengths identified in the poll are links to mainland Europe and the environment. High house prices and congestion are the main weaknesses.
