Hyder Consulting's annual results

High-profile contracts and acquisitions have helped to boost Hyder Consulting's annual results for the year to 31 March. The company's profits rose by 169 per cent and its order book has grown by 30 per cent to £240 million. The firm won Welsh Water's network development consultancy framework and was appointed to the Office of Government Commerce's environmental services framework. It was also involved in the Highways Agency project to widen the M25. Hyder bought engineering and planning consultancy Bettridge Turner and Partners and ecological practice Cresswell Associates. It also acquired German engineering firm Munnich Projekt.
