The SixtyK consortium chosen to deliver 148 homes

The SixtyK consortium has been chosen to deliver 148 £60,000 homes at the former Linton Hospital site in Maidstone, Kent, by the ODPM and English Heritage. The homes, 45 of which will be affordable, and a community building will form part of wider proposals for the site under the ODPM's Design for Manufacture competition. All of the properties will be developed to the eco-homes "excellent" rating. SixtyK consists of developer Crest Nicholson, off-site manufacturer Kingspan and architects Sheppard Robson.
