Feasibility of transport proposals for Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire

A study to investigate the feasibility of transport proposals for Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire is to be carried out by Colin Buchanan. The firm, commissioned by West Dunbartonshire Council, will look at ideas set out in the town centre action plan. The main focus will be to establish the feasibility of closing the northbound section of the B857 in the town and altering the remainder of the gyratory system to cope with two-way traffic. The company will also prepare a parking strategy for the town.
