Crawley BC leisure centre site sold

Crawley Borough Council's leisure centre site has been sold to developer Fairview for more than £30 million. Fairview plans to build 830 homes at the 7ha site, having obtained planning permission last month. The site was sold to finance the development of the £28 million multi-purpose K2 leisure centre opened by Lord Sir Sebastian Coe last week. CB Richard Ellis advised the council on the sale.
