Bill to tackle "garden grabbing" introduced to parliament

A bill to tackle the concept of "garden grabbing" was introduced to parliament by Tunbridge Wells Conservative MP Greg Clark this week. The bill seeks to prevent developers from buying and demolishing large detached houses and then building a number of small homes on the land. Local authorities claim that they can do little to stop such developments because such land is classified as brownfield.
