DTI launches competition

A competition to find a UK city, town, place or area that best exemplifies the enterprise spirit was launched by the DTI this week. The Enterprising Britain 2006 contest is part of a government drive to encourage entrepreneurship and identify places that have created jobs and brought communities together. Twelve regional winners will be selected in competitions run by regional development agencies and devolved governments around the country over the next four months. Judges will select a national winner in September.
