Drivers Jonas to manage port project

The due diligence process on Cromarty Firth Port Authority's bid to buy an offshore oil platform construction facility at Nigg in Scotland is to be project managed by Drivers Jonas. Nigg Yard, owned by Kellogg Brown and Root, has built North Sea oil platforms and sea-bed infrastructure for around 30 years. It has one of the largest graving docks in Europe and is supported by 140ha of land. The authority wants to acquire the facility to expand business in the offshore industry, heavy engineering, renewable energy and short sea shipping.
