Plans envisaged for London's Victoria area

An underground bus station, transport interchange and office and shop space are among plans envisaged for London's Victoria area in a planning brief published this week. The document, issued by Westminster City Council following talks with Land Securities and Transport for London, offers a vision for the area around the train station. It hopes to enable developments that can accommodate increasing passenger capacity at the station. The planning brief is out for consultation until 30 January 2006 and the document can be viewed via www.PlanningResource.co.uk.
