Pre-tax profit at Hyder Consulting doubles in first six months

Pre-tax profit at Hyder Consulting has more than doubled in the first six months of the financial year. Reporting on the period to 30 September, the company revealed that its turnover is up 27 per cent to £80.9 million and profit before tax has risen by 120 per cent to £2.6 million. The firm's order book has grown by 18 per cent, which Hyder said is partly down to the success of framework contracts for Transport for London and the Office of Government Commerce.
