Chelmsford Borough Council wins award

Chelmsford Borough Council's consultation work on its local development framework has won the council publication - design category prize at the annual Good Communications Awards. The consultation centred on selecting five faces of Chelmsford to identify core areas such as housing, environment, community and businesses. It saw a 64 per cent increase in responses compared with the previous plan process. The judging panel included CBI director-general Sir Digby Jones, Chartered Institute of Public Relations director Colin Farrington and MORI head of social research Ben Page.
