Designs for a park in Gloucester

Designs for a park in Gloucester have won support from local residents. Around £100,000 is to be spent creating open space on abandoned farmland in the city. The Horsbere Meadow scheme includes creating a pathway using bricks with designs by local school children carved into them. It will aim to preserve the ridge and furrow medieval field system as well as wildlife.
