Plans to revive a former industrial site in Lancaster

Plans to revive a former industrial site in Lancaster are moving forward with the selection of a lead developer and an agreement to move a gasholder from the 6.5ha site. Lancaster City Council has contracted CTP and Development Securities for its Luneside East scheme, which includes offices, workshops, open space and 350 homes. The council has begun compulsory purchase proceedings to obtain the site.
