Kent Thameside Delivery Board gets new chief executive

Michael Ward has been appointed chief executive of the Kent Thameside Delivery Board. Ward launched and ran the London Development Agency in 2000 and secured a commitment from the agency to support London's bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games. Before this he led the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, a national policy development and consultancy organisation, where he covered regional policy, the future of towns and cities and welfare to work.
